I'm trying to connect to Augur Node running on my cloud server. I was thinking I'll run it remotely, then use ssh port forwarding to connect.

What port does Augur node use? Do I need to pass a parameter to allow remote connections?

  • In my browser I access the node at localhost:8080, have you tried that port 8080? – Nicolas Bernard Jul 11 at 4:36
  • That's just for the UI. When I access the UI in browser at port 8080, it still asks me for a connection to Augur Node and an Ethereum node – fafrd Jul 11 at 13:25

If you start the Augur-Node you should see some logs resembling: Starting websocket secure server on port 9002 Starting websocket server on port 9001
